Cardiff cheese shop & bar

Our new Cardiff cheese shop & bar opened at the end of September 2025. It is located opposite Victoria Park view map, close to the Pettigrew bakery. The shop stocks a wide range of Welsh cheeses as well as a plethora of other Welsh deli goods and over 100 wines.

The shop also has seating in the rear and in the window, where we serve Welsh cheeseboards, glasses of wine and much more. The ‘cheese bar’ is open throughout the day, and into the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays. In March 2026 we launched a daytime Welsh rarebit menu, which is available between 11am and 4pm. We welcome both walk-ins and bookings. We can only seat a maximum of 20, so if you’re planning an evening visit please book using the calendar below to avoid disappointment.

We run regular ticketed tasting events in our shop, and we’re also available for private hire and tasting events. Please get in touch to find out more.

Y Fenni at last!

A delightful taste of Wales!

Product was delivered on time, in first class condition. The packaging was superb and thoughtful and I loved the map of Wales with the various locations of the cheese producers. The selection of cheeses were all delightful. In particular the blue cheese, Abaty Glas from Aberystwyth, was a firm favourite.
