Thelma Caerffili is named after Thelma Adams, who started cheese production with her husband Gwynfor on their farm Glyneithinog in the mid 1980s in response to the introduction of milk quotas. Cenarth’s Thelma Caerffili is a more mature version of their traditional Caerffili. It has a loose and slightly crumbly texture with a delicate lemony flavour.
This Caerffili is made in truckles that weigh between 2.6kg and 3kg. If you select the 2.6kg option you will receive a whole truckle with a minimum weight of 2.6kg. The 1.3kg option will be a half truckle.
