This soft goats’ cheese with a chilli kick from Y Cwt Caws is handmade by the Jefferies family at their farm, Cors yr Odyn, on Anglesey. All Y Cwt Caws cheese, including Peli Pabo Chilli and its cooler cousin Peli Pabo Plain, is made using milk from the family’s mixed herd of Saanan, Toggenburg and Alpine goats. The pearls are marinaded in sunflower oil and chilli flakes to keep them soft and flavoursome. This creamy cheese is great for spreading on homemade crusty bread, or melting into a pasta sauce.
