Light the fire, pour a drink and enjoy this artisan selection that really shows off the wonderful range of cheeses made by our Welsh cheesemakers. Festive Feast Cheeseboard Selection Contents:
- Ruby Mist 200g
A mature Cheddar with a warming hint of brandy and Port, Ruby Mist is a silky smooth, sophisticated cheese from Snowdonia Cheese Company. A Gold winner at the British Cheese Awards, it is the perfect evening treat.
- Black Bomber 200g
The multi-award-winning Black Bomber Cheddar is a modern classic. The Snowdonia Cheese Company’s flagship cheese, it marries a rich and tangy Cheddar flavour with a smooth creaminess that lingers on the palate.
- Angiddy 200g
Angiddy is a fantastic award-winning Welsh Brie made on a small family farm in the Wye Valley. It’s been in production for less than 3 years but has already won Gold at the World Cheese Awards.
- Golden Cenarth 200g
Golden Cenarth is an organic rind-washed soft cheese from Caws Cenarth. It has a string of awards to its name, including Supreme Champion and Best British Semi-Soft Cheese from the British Cheese Awards (2010 and 2016 respectively). The cheese is washed with cider, which helps to give it a pungent, savoury flavour with nutty overtones
- Blue Wenallt 200g
Blue Wenallt is a fantastic new blue cheese made by Hannah Turner on her family farm near Chepstow. Hannah uses milk from the farm's herd of Jersey cows to create this creamy, richy-veined truckle - perfect for a Christmas cheeseboard.
- Y Fenni 150g
Made from Cheddar spiked with beer and wholegrain mustard, Y Fenni really packs a punch. Y Fenni is a delicious addition to any ploughman’s lunch – it pairs nicely with brown ale too.
- Pant Ys Gawn 125g
This beautifully fresh, creamy goats’ cheese was first developed by the co-founders of Abergavenny Fine Foods, Pam and Tony Craske, and takes its name from their farm. Pant-Ys-Gawn tastes deliciously salty and lemony; try it grilled, spread in a sandwich or crumbled into a salad.
