Ewe blue is a brand new ewes milk cheese made by Bryn and Rebecca Perry on their farm in Pembrokeshire. They have a flock of 80 ewes which they run on a sustainable system and on organic principles.
The cheese has a lovely sharpness which is balanced perfectly with the smooth, rich texture, and the subtle sweetness associated with ewes milk.
Bryn and Rebecca are first generation tenant farmers, who first turned their hand to sheep dairy in 2020. They are committed to high welfare and regenerative farming practises, which includes keeping lambs with their mum until they’re strong enough to be weaned.
