This crafty little hamper pairs two gorgeous beers from two of Wales’ most innovative microbreweries with a trio of stunning Welsh cheeses. We’ve chosen beers of contrasting styles, made by breweries from opposite corners of the country. Monnow is an rich and fruity organic Welsh bitter, made by the Untapped Brewing Company, just a stone’s throw from Raglan Castle in Monmouthshire. Porth Neigwl is a hoppy amber IPA, made by Cwrw Llyn in a fishing village on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The beer is named after a popular surfing beach in the area, under which a 3,500 year old brewing trough was found.
The Mature Teifi and Smoked Cerwyn have rich and salty notes which work well with the the fruitiness of the bitter. The Caerffili is a more subtle and fresher cheese that we think pairs beautifully with the hoppy, tropical flavours in the IPA.

The Cenarth Caeffili has a fresh lemony flavour with a subtle hint of sea salt. It has won Champion Cheese at the Royal Welsh Show many times over the past decade.
- Teifi Mature Wedge 180g
Teifi is a raw milk Gouda-style cheese made by Caws Teifi in Ceredigion. The mature version of this cheese has been aged for between 6 and 9 months over which time it becomes stronger, saltier and more brittle. It has characteristics similar to a parmesan in the intensity of its flavour.
- Smoked Cerwyn 200g
This beauty from Pant Mawr Cheeses retains the creamy texture of Caws Cerwyn but has a deeply savoury tang having been cold smoked over oak from sustainable forests.

- Porth Neigwl IPA 500ml
Porth Neigwl is a hoppy amber IPA, made by the Cwrw Llyn brewery in Nefyn on the Llyn Peninsula. The beer was first made to celebrate the discovery of a 3,500 year old brewing trough on Porch Neigwl beach, which is now a popular surfing spot.
- Dylan Fruit Chutney 230g
This deliciously dark and sticky fruit chutney, made by Dylan’s of north Wales, is the perfect accompaniment for cheese.

Our Craft Beer and Cheese Hamper is presented in an attractive 14 inch wicker hamper. The cheese is wrapped in a foil bag to keep it cool and safe in transit, and all glass contents are protected by a recyclable cardboard sleeve.
The hamper comes with tasting notes to tell the recipient all about the wonderful Welsh contents.
