This mini truckle of Caws Cenarth’s mature, Cheddar-style Caws Cryf cheese is flavoured with leeks. A perfect addition to any cheeseboard, this lovely little cheese from West Wales is also great crumbled into mashed potato or in a cauliflower cheese sauce.
Caws Cenarth have been making cheese on their farm in the valley of the river Cych in West Wales for several generations. Thelma and Gwynfor Adams spearheaded the renaissance in Welsh cheesemaking in the 1980s, and the business is now run by their son Carwyn. Cenarth now make a diverse range of superb organic cheeses, many of which have won multiple awards.
