This mini waxed truckle is made by Caws Cenarth in Carmarthenshire. It combines a mature, Cheddar-style cheese with sundried tomato and a hint of chilli, resulting in a smooth and creamy cheese packed with comforting flavours. Based on Cenarth’s gorgeous Caws Cryf, Cenarth Chilli and Tomato melts beautifully, making it perfect for macaroni cheese with a twist!
Caws Cenarth have been making cheese on their farm in the valley of the river Cych in West Wales for several generations. Thelma and Gwynfor Adams spearheaded the renaissance in Welsh cheesemaking in the 1980s, and the business is now run by their son Carwyn. Cenarth now make a diverse range of superb organic cheeses, many of which have won multiple awards.
