Caws Cenarth’s traditional Caerffili is made on the Adams family’s Glyneithinog Farm in Carmarthenshire. Today, Carwyn Adams runs the cheese business, but his family have been making cheese on their farm, Glyneithinog, for six generations. This fresh, creamy Caerffili was originally made by Carwyn’s great great grandmothers, Lizzie Wyn and Leisa Jones.
The Cenarth Caerffili has a lemony flavour with a subtle hint of sea salt. It has won Champion Cheese at the Royal Welsh Show many times over the past decade. Try it with a glass of crisp, dry white wine or even a glass of apple juice!
