Bring the experience of a personalised cheese tasting into your home with our new Best of the West Virtual Cheese Tasting Kit. The kit is based on our popular Best of the West selection, but also includes extensive tasting notes, a score card and a cheesy quiz!
The kit is designed to be sent to multiple households who can then come together online to enjoy an evening tasting exquisite cheeses. The information pack will guide you through the tasting and scoring, ensuring a deliciously entertaining experience. It also works just as well as a stand-alone box if you’d rather not share the cheesy joy with friends or family!
Please note that if you are ordering a number of kits to be sent to various different addresses, you will need to process each delivery as a separate order and each one will incur a separate delivery charge.
The tasting kit features five gorgeous artisan cheeses from three of Wales’ most famous cheesemakers, Caws Cenarth, Pant Mawr and Brookes Dairy. The box also contains crackers from Brecon and a chutney from the Llyn Peninsula.

- Golden Cenarth 200g
Golden Cenarth is a soft rind-washed cheese with a pungent savoury flavour and nutty overtones.
- Perl Las 200g
Perl Las is a superb Welsh blue cheese made by Carwyn Adams at Caws Cenarth in Carmarthenshire. This delicious golden cheese was a Gold Medal Winner at the World Cheese Awards in 2015.
- Angiddy Brie 200g
Angiddy is a fantastic award-winning Welsh Brie made on a small family farm. It’s been in production for less than 3 years but has already won Gold at the World Cheese Awards.
- Caws Preseli 200g
This soft, mould-ripened cheese from Pant Mawr Cheeses is mildly tangy and fruity, with a rich flavour and distinctive straw colour.
- Smoked Cerwyn 200g
This beauty from Pant Mawr Cheeses retains the creamy texture of Caws Cerwyn but has a deeply savoury tang having been cold smoked over oak from sustainable forests.
- Calon Lan Apple Chutney 311g
Calon Lan Chutneys are made in small batches by hand in Pwllheli on the Llŷn Peninsula.
- Cradoc's Leek and Caerphilly Crackers 80g
Gorgeously crisp and crunchy wafer crackers made in the Brecon Beacons.
*Some cheeses or other food items in our selections will occasionally be out of season or out of stock. When this is the case we will replace it with something as similar as possible.
All orders are sent out in our attractive recyclable gift boxes, with all cheese wrapped in our wool-based biodegradable insulation which will keep your cheese chilled and well-protected during its journey.
We send all orders for overnight delivery with one of the UK’s leading couriers. Please allow an extra day for deliveries to the highlands and islands.
