Welsh Cheesemaker Wins BBC Food & Farming Award

We’re absolutely delighted that one of our cheesemakers, Carrie Rimes, producer of one of our favourite Welsh Cheeses, Brefu Bach, has won ‘Best Food Producer’ at the prestigious BBC Food & Farming Awards. We absolutely love Carrie’s cheeses and we’re delighted that she’s getting the recognition she deserves.

Brefu Bach, or ‘Little Bleat’, is an unpasteurised ewe’s milk cheese that Carrie makes in the foothills of Snowdonia. It’s a soft, mould-ripened cheese with a delicate sweetness and a smooth, creamy texture.
