Welsh Cheese For Rock Royalty

You might well know that I (Tom) have a background in music, having spent a decade or so touring the world with bands (mainly Paolo Nutini’s band) before starting the Welsh Cheese Company in 2017. Music is still a great passion of mine, both playing and going to gigs, so I always get excited when my two worlds, Welsh cheese and music, somehow collide.

A few days ago we were delighted to get a call from the team touring with one of the world’s biggest rock bands, the Foo Fighters. They were in Cardiff playing a gig to a sold out crowd of 60,000 in the Principality Stadium. Apparently they were very keen to try the very best Welsh cheese so they called into our Taffs Well shop and took a huge array of cheeses back to the stadium with them.

In case you wondered, their preferences seemed to be Hafod Cheddar, Abaty Brie, Thelma Caerffili and Trefaldwyn Blue!
