We’d like to say a quick thank you for the extraordinary support we’ve received over the past few weeks. We’ve been bowled over not only by the volume of orders we’ve had but also by the number of messages of appreciation and thanks that we’ve received.

We find ourselves in a very fortunate position in that we’ve been able to continue to work and trade safely after making a few adjustments and we’re busier than ever. Several of our cheesemakers have been less fortunate and have found that the market for their cheeses shrank considerably when the hospitality industry stopped buying and farmers markets and delis had to temporarily cease trading.

The plight of some of the UK’s best artisan cheesemakers has been well publicised and is a real worry. One of the few ways that many of them still have to sell their cheeses is through online stores, and we’re certainly buying more than ever from our producers.

So thanks to them for making such fantastic cheeses and thanks to you for supporting them by continuing to buy Welsh artisan cheese. It’s such an important part of Welsh food culture and it’s clear to us that it will continue to be cherished long into the future by people all over the country.
