Our New Celebration Cheese Cakes

What better way to celebrate all of our delayed get-togethers than with a spectacular and delicious Welsh Cheese Celebration Cake! Whether you’re marking that special birthday, getting married or just having a party to make up for lost time, our celebration cakes are bound to hit the mark!

Introducing the Gower, Snowdonia and Brecon Cheese Cakes!

The Gower Cheese Cake

The Gower cheese cake is the smallest of them all but is still sure to turn heads! Perfect for parties and smaller get-togethers, it is a beautiful show-stopper made up of some of Wales’ very best cheeses. The bottom tier is a 1.2kg Perl Wen, a much-loved Brie-style cheese by Caws Cenarth in Carmarthenshire. The second layer is Caerfai Caerffili, a traditional, organic hand-made Caerphilly made by Linda Evans on her farm near St Davids. The top two tiers are comprised of a 450g Perl Las blue and a 150g Black Sheep, a delicate, creamy, wax-covered ewe’s milk cheese from West Wales. The Gower cheese cake is a perfect combination of Welsh favourites and is sure to delight your guests. It weighs 2.4kg, is approx. 21cm tall and will serve between 18 and 35 people.

The Snowdonia Cheese Cake

If you want a cake that is sure to be enjoyed by everyone, the Snowdonia cheese cake is the one for you! Perfect for parties and larger events, it is a beautiful show-stopper made up of some of Wales’ favourite flavoured cheddars. The bottom tier is a Black Bomber, a multi-award-winning Cheddar that marries a rich and tangy Cheddar flavour with a smooth creaminess that lingers on the palate. The second layer is Red Storm,  a strong and creamy vintage red Leicester with notes of caramel. The third tier is a 400g Black Bomber. The top tier is Truffle Trove, it blends Snowdonia’s smooth and creamy Cheddar with a delicate black truffle from Italy, a delicious “cherry on top”! The Snowdonia cheese cake is a perfect variety of Snowdonia’s flavoured cheddars and is sure to delight your guests. This cake will serve between 40 and 70 people. 

The Brecon Cheese Cake

The Brecon cheese cake is the perfect centre-piece. The cake is comprised of Caerfai Cheddar, a cloth-bound, organic Cheddar from St David’s in Pembrokeshire; Mon Las, a beautifully creamy blue from Anglesey; Smoked Teifi, a delicately oak-smoked take on Teifi’s unpasteurised, Gouda-style cheese and a heart-shaped Angiddy Brie from the Wye Valley. It weighs a total of 4.25kg, is approx. 26cm tall and will serve between 40 to 60 people.
