New Welsh Rarebit Menu launched for St David’s Day

We’re thrilled to be celebrating St David’s Day the best way we know how… with melted cheese. Lots of it.

Throughout March, our Cardiff deli will be serving up a brand-new lunchtime menu dedicated to that glorious Welsh classic, rarebit. We’re proud to be supporting Cegin y Bobl’s Rarebit Fortnight campaign, donating 25% from every dish sold to help fund their fantastic grassroots work getting Wales cooking and eating nutritious food.

The menu will feature both traditional and unusual cheesy rarebit toppings on thick-cut local sourdough, including:

• Classic rarebit made with earthy Hafod Cheddar, mustard and Welsh ale
• Thelma Caerffili rarebit with sautéed leeks
• Perl Las rarebit with caramelised pears and pecans
