There’s a lot to consider when you’re choosing a cheese wedding cake for your big day. You’ll want to think about the size and look of the cake, the combination of flavours, the amount of cheese per person, the quality and quantity of each variety, the delivery and storage, the labels for the cheeses and the accompaniments you might need.

These details are important to get right, but the perfect solution will be different for each wedding. That’s why we’ve launched a bespoke cheese wedding cake consultation service.

We offer couples the chance to come to our premises, just north of Cardiff, for a one-to-one session to help them design their perfect cake. Couples get to see how various combinations of truckles will look, and more importantly they’re able to taste a wide variety of really exceptional cheeses.
And the best bit is that these ludicrously tasty cake-design sessions are completely free!

On our website we feature 6 cheese wedding cakes that we’ve designed and created ourselves, using some fantastic cheeses from all parts of Wales. We’re very proud of these and they are tried and tested combinations that have been proving very popular. We hope that the photos on the website do them justice, and we can certainly vouch for the superb quality of the cheeses, but we found that couples were regularly getting in touch with us to ask for slightly different varieties and combinations. Our cake design consultation service now allows food-lovers to create their own unique cheese wedding cake, that they know their guests will love.

We have nearly 70 different cheeses to choose from, made by 15 wonderful producers including Caws Cenarth, the Snowdonia Cheese Company, Caws Teifi, Blaenafon Cheddar Company, Brookes Dairy and many more. We can guide you through the selection, and create your perfect cake, which we will then deliver to you or to your venue just before your wedding.
